Galp Energia is the holding responsible for the reshaping of the portuguese energy sector, in the oil and natural gas businesses. It is the owner of the whole of Petrogal (engaged in the production and exploration of petroleum and in the refining and marketing of petroleum products) and the whole of GDP-Gás de Portugal (engaged in natural gas importing and transport, via Transgás, and in the distribution of natural gas through regional and local distributors).

Having as objective empowering their workers and decisively contribute to the improvement of internal communication, Galp Energia decided to develop a corporate portal, named Employee Portal. This platform receives information and makes it available to the workers from any access point, thus optimizing the execution of its activities.

The Employee Portal intends to reduce the use of paper and optimize the fulfillment of activities, thereby restructuring some of the work processes and increasing the workers’ autonomy and sharing of information and knowledge.
