Methodus Group developed a systematic way of responding to the challenges faced by our Clients – the Methodus Action Process (MAP). When we developed this unique methodology we focused in creating ways to generate real and implementable solutions, based on reliable systems.
Today MAP is composed of seven main phases, starting with the Preliminary Investigation Phase, during which we clearly identify our Client’s needs and objectives. MAP’s other phases are: Reengineering, Prototyping, Analysis and Design, Development, Implementation and Support.
Methodus University
At Methodus Group we consider that highly qualified and motivated people are fundamental to our success. Chief Executive Officer
António Lucena de Faria began his consulting career in 1985 with Arthur Andersen & Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA as a Management and Information Systems Consultant.
In 1987 he founded Methodus Sistemas de Informação S.A. where he remains today as Chairman of the Board. Later he started the companies, eMethodus Informática Lda., Exemplo Prático Lda, and Methodus Consulting Lda. and portalfinceiro.com before in 1999 creating a holding company MTDS SGPS, S.A, remaining CEO and Chairman of the Board.
In 2000 he lead the creation of forumB2b.com together with other shareholders EDP and Galpenergia, assuming the role of CEO. In 2002 he help launch SelPlus S.A. of which he is Chairman of the Board.
António has a degree in Economics and has a MBA in Information Systems .

| | Marta Lowndes de Faria
Member of the Board of Administration - Marketing and Sales.
She participated in the foundation of ‘Methodus Sistemas de Informação’, S.A. having assumed the direction of Marketing and Sales in 1995.
She initiated her activity in the area of Marketing as PA Consulting. In Portugal, she was Marketing and Sales director of Timex and later become President of the Portuguese branch office up to 1994.
She has a degree in Architecture and a MBA in Marketing Management. | | |

| | João Miguel de Sá Machado Canelas
Methodus International - Vice President
Carries an extense know-how and experience in IT systems development and project management, namely for the Insurance, Banking and Automotive markets. He is an expert in IT areas of CRM, Document Management and Workflow, Unified Messaging and Server-based Computing.
In 1997 he lead the constituition of eMethodus Informática, assuming the position of Sales Director. He becomes Managing Director in 2000.
Started his profissional carrier at Methodus Sistemas de Informação in 1988 as a Consultant, and later took the positions of Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant and Sales Director.
Miguel studied Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.
